Oakland Council

The Oakland Council is an employer council composed of chapter leaders from our four City of Oakland chapters:
    Administrative and Professionals
    Deputy City Attorneys
    Engineers and Architects
    Supervisors and Managers
The Council coordinates activities of the constituent chapters, including: negotiations and contract campaigns, contract implementation, member communications, and recommendations on political endorsements for races/candidates directly within the Councils jurisdiction.

The Council meets on the fourth Monday of each month.

Local 21-Oakland Tentative Agreement Vote Result
92% of Local 21 members at the City of Oakland overwhelmingly approved the Tentative Agreement.

Thanks go to Election Committee volunteers Jeff Levin, Renee Sykes, Hamid Ghaemmaghami, Robert Newman, and Moises Montoya, who tallied the ballots during the evening of July 27.
