Join Local 21 at the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb

Join Local 21 on Saturday, March 23 as we raise money and awareness for the American Lung Association at the 2013 Fight for Air Climb. Donations raised from the event will help fight asthma, lung cancer, COPD and dozens of other lung diseases by raising much needed funds for community based education programs, the fight for cleaner air standards, and life-saving research. Participants must raise at least $100, and climb 52 flights of stairs (1,197 steps) at 555 California Street.

Our union has formed two teams to compete in the Fight for Air Climb, the “Local 21 East Bay Steppers” and the “Local 21 Unsung Climbers.” Each team will compete to raise funds for the American Lung Association and see who can climb to the top first.

To join a team or make a donation, visit the team’s page or contact Ging Louie, Local 21 Staff Representative. Local 21 will reimburse members for the $25 registration fee required for participating in the event.
